About the Influencer Marketing Awards 2022

We did it! We are (quite literally) still in shock from winning Best Boutique Agency 2022 at the Influencer Marketing Awards earlier this month! As, by far, one of the newest companies attending the event, this is no small feat.

Founded by two best friends at a kitchen table in London just one week before the Coronavirus pandemic began, our agency has made phenomenal headway in the Influencer Marketing Industry in the past two years and we are SO proud that this hasn’t gone unnoticed. The Good Egg is also, importantly, a 100% self-funded project, being profitable from day one with no loans, no overdrafts – nothing.

Overall, the main foundation for all of The Good Egg’s work is to never let a project, whatever the budget, interfere with our values. In a nutshell, we treat influencers like humans, and not algorithms or cash-cows. With these values in mind we have run hugely successful campaigns with the likes of H&M, Pret A Manger and OPPO, whilst also being an entirely remote and multinational team.

The Influencer Marketing Awards have one main goal – to reward individuals, campaigns, and teams that have pushed boundaries and delivered excellence across the board in the past twelve months. Despite the Influencer Marketing Industry constantly evolving, the IMAs endeavour to honour not only the innovative campaigns that have really made a difference, but also the teams that have worked exceptionally hard to to execute them. As a result, winning Best Boutique Influencer Marketing Agency is an esteemed privilege in this industry!

Recognising how incredibly competitive the Influencer Marketing Industry is, the judges were reported to have been especially admirable of how far The Good Egg has come with, not only no funding, but more significantly our extremely relatable values. They were also said to be highly impressed with our start up story, accepting how difficult it is to be competitive in this space, especially with no help! With good work and recommendations alone, the way in which The Good Egg managed to build a wonderful agency that successfully completes large projects with a small team (with figures backing up the claims!) is what determined the judges final decision.

Watch this space, though! We have also been nominated in not one – but two – categories for the Digital StartUp Awards, with winners announced in September. The Good Egg has been shortlisted for Best Digital StartUp and our CEO and Founder Nat is shortlisted for Young Entrepreneur – fingers crossed!
